An engine blade from the Orpheus jet engine that powered Donald Campbell's Bluebird K7 boat on January 4th 1967. It was recovered with the rest of Bluebird from the bottom of Coniston Water in 2001. Each blade is unique due to the amount of corrosion and damage sustained. Mounted on a piece of Coniston slate. Each piece of slate is also unique and of irregular size. There is a brief inscription on a silver plaque "Stator Blade from Donald Campbell's Bluebird boat'. The set is presented win a black base and a clear acrylic cover.
